New Year Begins with PS-R™ Facilitator Training

Family Design Resources, Inc. is credentialing additional facilitators for Practice Self-Regulation™, a trauma-informed curriculum model that promotes health and well-being in adolescents impacted by adverse childhood experiences.  The three-day PS-R™ Facilitator Training will take place in Monroeville, Pennsylvania on January 8 – January 10, 2020.

Grounded in cutting-edge neurosciences, PS-R™ teaches participants to put past trauma in a new light, manage emotions in healthy ways, and take steps toward achieving life goals.  The program debuted in Pennsylvania in June 2019.

The curriculum is characterized by user-friendly session plans and multi-sensory activities.  Youth that completed PS-R™ described the program as “amazing, fun, helpful, interesting, relaxing and useful.” Facilitators have also praised the program for its ease in learning and delivering. “I loved how interactive the training was. I really felt like I learned the material well because I saw it being used and was able to use it hands on,” commented one facilitator.

The PS-R™ Facilitator Training (Monroeville, PA) registration is open. The training is limited to 15 participants, and registration will remain open until capacity is reached.

If you have any questions about the PS-R™ program or the facilitator training, please contact Shelly Castillo, program specialist.
