FDR Seeks Volunteers
2/1/2010
FDR is seeking individuals who are interested in making a difference for marginalized children by serving as a volunteer for our organization. As a non-profit social services consulting agency, we rely on and greatly appreciate the resources of knowledge and support that our board members contribute.
FDR is headquartered in Harrisburg; however, we provide services to the state of Pennsylvania and beyond. FDR’s mission is to promote and support the well-being of children and families through program development, training, research and implementation of state-of-the-art practices related to social work, legal and organizational theories. Our fundamental purpose is to provide assistance to professionals who serve children and families by equipping them with the tools and practices that enable them to create and sustain lasting family connections.
FDR is seeking additional board members who can help guide the organization in matters of state contract negotiation, non-profit accounting, fundraising, public relations, public affairs, research/evaluation, IT/database infrastructure and integration with governmental systems. Individuals do not need to live in the Central Pennsylvania Area. For more information contact Fawn Davies at 717.558.1246.
